Hoppy Easter, April 15

This weekend Moon's F1 Cockapoo pups are off to their fur-ever homes - in time to be part of Easter festivities!

During their final week in our care they'll have their final vet check and be evaluated with our puppy aptitude test. We continue to work on potty training, taking frequent trips outdoors for the pups to potty (and have time to romp about in the yard). Pups are solely eating kibble, and Moon's pups gobble it up!

We have seen so much growth, change and development over the short 8 weeks they've been ours - it is now their adoptive families turn to continue the work of posivitely socializing and providing the pups with constructive enrichment. We adore these guys and know thier new families will too!

a time of transition, march 15

At 3+ weeks Moon's Cockapoo puppies are coming to the end of the Transitional Period.

During this stage of development we begin "handling excercises" (having completed ENS/ESI) and watch as they begin to wobble about - start finding their voice - go the bathroom on their own - play with each other - and nibble on toys/stuffies.

The next stage is the Socialization period, and pups are already beginning to show they are ready!

Viper is an escape artist and has successfully mastered and taught her littermates how to get out of their box and into momma's space. In the next day or two we will be moving them into their pen where they will have more room to romp about, explore, try formula, see the world around them, and work on bathroom training.

Little Overachievers, March 1

Not yet 2 weeks and Moon's little Cockapoo pups are opening their eyes! Such a sweet stage....there's just something so special about being able to look at them and know they are seeing and hearing you.

Moon continues to be a fantastic momma - feeling more comfortbale taking time away from her little ones (in short increments of time) to rest, relax, - and get individual love and attention from us.

We continue daily ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), ESI (Early Scent Introduction) and weigh-ins. Reid is taking his duties seriously - caring for the pups and cleaning up their space. It's not uncommon to find him in the whelping box with his litter, talking to them and petting them.

* I am continuing to reach out to families for this litter, and hope to have everyone lined up very soon. Pups from this litter will be spoken for by families currently on our waiting list.
