Aria's COckapoo Puppies
first photo shoot, August 31
It's been a wonderfully busy couple of weeks around here!
💙 Bob Marley's eyes have opened.
💙 He's kindly shared his mom and her milk supply with pups from Charlotte's litter, always cuddling up with them for a snooze after filling their bellies.
💙 He's enjoyed his first trip outside - exploring the grass with Moon's fellas and sleepy snuggles in the sun with Tyler.
He's here, August 13
We could not be more excited to announce the safe arrival of Aria's little guy! After finding out momma only had one pup, there was concern that a c-section would be required - an outcome we did not want for our girl!
Prayers were answered, when I found momma curled up on her bed - cleaning her newborn. Of course, we had been carefully watching momma...keeping her under close observation.
Both momma and puppy are doing fantastic and we have never been so happy to have one puppy! 🐾💙
With his arrival in summer (my favorite season) and while listening to Bob Marley (one of my favorite artists to listen to during summer) name theme was obvious!
Welcome to the world, our very own Bob Marley.
today's the day for x-ray, august 5
Aria, Drew and I saw Dr. Kelleher at Broadview Reproductive Clinic in Dover for momma's x-ray.
Aria was a star patient for the doc and techs.....which of course means, treats!
Dr. Kelleher confirmed Aria is expecting - however, unlike her previous litters of 9 momma has 1 pup.
With small litters concern is that a c-section may be required due to:
1. With so much room, the one pup could be large (and unable to be delivered naturally).
2. Less puppies means less hormone needed to send momma into labor.
Our hope (and prayer) for Aria is that she will be able to deliver naturally. Stay tuned for updates.
