Our Family
Instilling a love and compassion for animals in my children's hearts.
Hello and welcome to Chesley Hill Cockapoos!
My name is Destiny, and I am so excited to share our family's story with you. I am a work-from-home mom of four: Tyler (16), Devin (14), Drew (11), and Reid (10).
Our boys are homeschooled and are my wonderful partners in raising our pups and caring for our dogs. As they have grown, so has their dedication; they seamlessly balance their homeschooling with the hands-on care of our puppies and dogs. In our new Florida home, life is lived outdoors; you’ll often find the boys and dogs together on scooter rides, fishing from the dock, exploring local trails, or playing games of fetch in the backyard.
The fun continues indoors, where our dogs are involved in every part of our day. Their presence is constant—whether it's a puppy curled up on a lap during a morning lesson or the dogs "helping" in the kitchen. Between lessons, the boys are often found setting up creative indoor play courses, using tunnels and toys to encourage the puppies to explore and build confidence. Whether they are working on a project under the palm trees or relaxing together at the end of the day, our dogs are at the very heart of our family’s adventures.
We understand that adding a puppy to your home is a big step and a significant commitment. That is why our goal is to provide you with an exceptional puppy—one that has been handled by our children from a very young age and provided with age-appropriate socialization to ensure they grow into happy, healthy dogs
"At the end of the day, I'm not putting puppies on the ground, I'm putting relationships into the world"

I LOVE WHAT I DO!
Honestly, being a breeder is amazing! Amazingly HARD and amazingly wonderful!
A dog lover since childhood, our family was passionate about rescuing Doberman Pinschers. Our home had an open door and open hearts for dobes - many came with hurts and hang ups that took patience, love, and understanding of canine behavior to properly transition into our home and into relationship with people and other dogs.
As a young adult I decided to move across country to beautiful San Francisco. Once settled in I realized my heart was missing the love and companionship of a fur-baby. I adopted "Oliver" my sweet pug from a rescue there. Weekends were spent in training for both of us. We worked on basic obedience and continued through some light agility work. City walks off-leash, trips to the local dog park, hikes in the Marin Headlands and take-your-dog to work (ok, I admit, take your dog EVERYWHERE) were our life.
We made the move back to NH (where I was born and raised) in 2006, and we quickly fell in love with Dave. Oliver and Dave were inseperable and Ollie soon became the well-loved jobsite dog.
In 2013 we added a Cocker Spaniel to our home, our beautiful Gracie, and began the wonderful journey we continue on today.....lovingly raising Cockapoo puppies.
After 13 wonderful years in New Hampshire, my family and I are starting an exciting new chapter. Chesley Hill Cockapoos (CHC) will be relocating to Florida! As a family, we’ve always loved vacationing in the Sunshine State—the sun, the sand, and the palm trees. We purchased land there a few years back with hopes of retiring "someday," but recent changes in my husband’s professional career have allowed our "someday" to come much sooner than we had planned, anticipated, or dreamed.
As we bring our legacy of expertise to the sunshine, my commitment remains the same. As a dedicated dog owner, I strive to remain educated and up to date on best practices in dog training—taking classes, earning CEUs, and attending seminars on learning theory, training techniques, and ethology (canine behavior). Training is always evolving, and it's vital to keep up with the latest and best concepts.
As a dedicated breeder, I also prioritize staying current on canine health, safety, and reproductive wellness. I am American Red Cross certified in Dog First Aid and regularly attend breeding seminars, earn CEUs, and complete advanced exams on topics such as Breeding Basics, Whelping & Medical Intervention, and Nutritional Influences on Reproduction.
I believe you should ensure the breeder you select not only has a heart for dogs, but also a deep knowledge of canine health and behavior. A commitment to being a reputable breeder takes much more than just having a male and a female dog; it takes a lifetime of learning

Some of the certificates I've obtained in my continuing education. As Victoria Stilwell says, I love to geek out on all things dog. 🐾❤️

My boys are a HUGE part of our breeding program. So, I asked.......
"Boys, what are your favorite things about raising puppies and doggies? What are your least favorite things?"

Tyler 💙
Favorite things: "That we get nice little puppies to play with and big dogs to throw balls to."
Least favorite things: "Saying good-bye to our big dogs when they retire, and to the pups when they go to their new homes."
Devin 💚
Favorite things: "I like being able to play with cute puppies and spend time with them. I like that some of our dogs are calm and some are playful."
Least favorite things: "Cleaning puppy pens and saying good-bye to the puppies."

Drew ❤️
Favorite things: "I like their cute little faces and fur...it's very cuddly - and their big wagging tails."
Least favorite things: "They make you want to keep them but then you'd have a lot of dogs to take care of."
Reid 🧡
Favorite things: "I like puppies and dogs because they are cute and I like playing with them."
Least favorite things: "Feeding dogs and giving puppies away 'cause they are too cute."

Chesley Hill Cockapoos is the BEST! Destiny's house is full of love and you can really sense that if you get a chance to visit. Her family takes such amazing care of their dogs and the puppies they breed it was really a no-brainer when I chose her as our breeder for our future pup. We love our CHC puppy more than words can describe

We loved working with Destiny! This was our first dog, and she was so patient in answering all of our questions and making sure we felt comfortable before we went home with our pup. Would absolutely recommend.
Destiny was absolutely amazing! She was always available to provide guidance as I prepared for my sweet pup and was super responsive in email and phone communication. I will definitely be working with Destiny again in the future!
