Retired Mommas

You no longer greet me, as I walk through the door.

You're not there to make me smile, to make me laugh anymore.

Life seems quiter without you. You were far from just a pet.

You were a family member, a friend, a loving soul I'll NEVER forget.

I miss you every day.  You were such a great companion, constant, loyal, and true.

My heart will always wear, the pawprints left by you.

Noel

Noel is living out her retirement with her fur-ever mom here in NH, who shares that Noel is settling in nicely and loving their walks in the orchards.

Noel joined our family at 8 weeks of age and quickly stole our hearts!  We will always remember or Welly girl for her CONSTANT happy tail wagging,

love for tug with Aria (her daughter), and her full of life & love spunky personality.

Eevee

Eevee is living out her retirement with Apple and 2 big fur-sisters with her fur-ever family in MA.

Her family shares: "Eevee has settled in beautifully!  She is the sweetest, most relaxed girl and she loves getting lots of snuggles and attention from everyone.  The whole family loves how she'll put a paw on them when she wants to be petted!  She and Apple jumped right back into their sisterly bond, and so they are often snuggled up together on one of the beds in the house."

We will miss our sweet, gentle, southern "Belle" whose calm energy and squishable face was a salve for the soul on busy days and when you just needed the peace and love that only a dog can provide. Christmas trees will forever remind us of our Eevee girl.

Apple

Apple is living out her retirement with Eevee and 2 big fur-sisters with her fur-ever family in MA.

Her family shares: "We're all completely in love with her!! Thank you so much for choosing us to be her forever family!"

Apple was a wonderful momma, a great "gentle-leader" who assited with showing the younger girls how to loose-leash walk and stick around when off leash.  Her quiet, peace-full personality made her wonderful with kids - puppies - other doggies and my morning time journaling buddy.

She was and will fur-ever be the Apple of our eye.

Ridley

Ridley is living out her retirement with her son, Corazon (CHC pup) and their fur-ever family right here in NH.  Her mom has shared Ridley is a momma's girl (always by her momma's side) and a wonderful playmate to her boy, Corazon.

Ridley aka "Roo" was a whirlwind of fun; always bringing laughs to our family.  She had energy for all, and was often the leader to get not only her sisters to play but us too!  We adored her freckles and little white boots and will remember her fondly for her silly antics and complete infatuation with all CHC puppies.

Nya

Nya is living out her retirement right here in NH with her fur-ever family and her new fur-brother.  So close to our home, we've had the wonderful opportunity to go and visit - where we also enjoyed a quick game of fetch with our sweet girl.  Her family has shared pictures and updates letting us know how nicely she's settled in and how much they adore her.

Nya adored our boys, all puppies, and watching kiddos ride their 4-wheeler (though I think she often wished she could tag along). She was a wonderful momma, a sweet  girl, and sunshine on gray days. She adored her "people" and all her fur-sisters who she loved snuggling with.

Summer

Summer is living out her reirement with her fur-ever mom and new fur-sister in ME.  After the passing of her adoptive dad, her adoptive mom shares that Summer has brought so much joy and love to her life, and she is so thankful for the light she brings to her life.

Summer was our little fuzzy bear - who often provided "fuzz-therapy" to our boys (particularly to our son Devin during math lessons he found difficult/stressfu). She adored all her sisters, all our boys, walks, rides in the car, actually - anything!  She was sweet as the chocolate color she was.

Starla

Starla is living out her retirement with her fur-ever mom in MA, who shares that Starla is adored beyond measure!

While part of our home and family, some of Starla's favorite things were: playing with our boys (her entire back end wagging when they come into sight),

sniffing out all the chipmunks that lived in the rock wall of our yard, taking walks and hikes, playing fetch, and snuggling up on my lap.

We are thankful for the years we called her ours.

Madi

Madi is living out her retirment here right here in NH with a wonderful and loving fur-ever family who often shares updates and pictures.  Being cose to UNH, her fur-ever family has shared that Madi loves to take walks around campus and the horse barns and enjoyes when the college students stop to give her a pet and love saying how sweet she is and how much she helps them in missing their pups back home.

Madi was a much loved part of our home from 8 weeks of age.  She successfully completed obedience clases (taken at It's a Dog's World in York, Maine) and adored all our boys, snuggling during homeschool, walks around the neighborhood, all pups, helping new prospective mommas settle in, and ME!  She was and forever will be a part of my heart and the reason I continue.....brininging light and love to families looking to add a fur-ever pup to their home and family.

Gracie

Gracie is living out her reirement in Newburyport, MA with her wonderful fur-ever family who over the years has remained in contact sending texts, updates, and seasonal cards letting us know how wonderfully she's doing and how very much she is adored.  Her fur-ever mom has also shared that Gracie daily goes to work with her and is a much loved part of their family business.

Gracie was our first Cocker Spaniel and the positive force that led us to raising Cockapoos. As our beloved San Francisco rescue-pup, Ollie (black, male pug) was aging we realized we were not going to be "ok" when and if he passed......our hearts had grown accustomed to the unconditonal love and adorable tick-tick-tack of paws on our floor and slight snores snuggled beside us in our bed.  And so, we searched and found our wonderful Gracie girl.  She was a devoted pup, always following us arond to make sure we were "safe" and enjoyed just being around us (in the shower - she was there on my bath mat...as I tucked babes in - she was just outside the door waiting and protecting.....she loved walks, rides in the car, fetch in the backyard and just being part of our daily lives.

RIDLEY

Ridley is an energetic, full-of-life girl.  If there's fun to be had she wants....expects to be part of it. When we take family walks, Ridley prefers to stay close to her boys and always has them in her sight.  She is nimble and able to climb and jump as though her legs were springs (hence the nickname, Kanga and Roo). She melts into your lap when being pet but if you stop, prepare for her to get "love zoomies".  She's got the softest coat and we absolutely adore her freckles!

Ridley has found her fur-ever home with a wonderful CHC family who adopted Corazon (one of Ridley's pups).  Ridley and her little guy are best of buds and are enjoying life right here in NH.
