We love our Cooper Loves Sophie Bandanas, July 22

We here at Chesley Hill Cockapoos absolutely love our Cooper Loves Sophie bandanas!  Sue, the owner and momma to Cooper and Sophie always hits it our of the park finding fabric to match our puppy name themes.

Nya's Italian Gelato Cockapoo puppies look adorable in their CLS gelato themed bandanas.

Spoiler Alert:  All of our pups go home with one of these in their puppy go home bag.

And just like that....Nya's Italian Gelato Cockapoo pups will be 8 weeks and headed to their fur-ever homes this Saturday.

We've had so much fun watching them grow, and helping them build confidence and see that the world is safe - people are kind - and they CAN do it!

Vet Visit, July 19

It's Health Certificate day!  Off to the vet we go to get Nya's Italian Gelato Cockapoo puppies checked by the wonderful reproductive staff at Broadview Animal Hospital - Reproductive Services.

The pups did amazing in the car (not even a whimper) and were so good for Dr. K who did a complete and thorough examination. I am happy to report that all pups passed their health checks and had a good time meeting new people.

So smart, July 14

Most often I share snapshots (to include pictures and videos) of our day and our lives with our pups on our CHC Families Only page.  However, today I wanted to share here with everyone who may visit our site or is thinking "is a Cockapoo right for our family?".

Reid loves our pups, and quite often during the day will climb in to hold and play with them.  Sometimes, he'll scoop one up and take it out and about to play in the living room or in the yard, or just to stroll about the house, or to sit on the front deck with him.

Today he climbed in and was making sure to hold and handle each one of Nya's Cockapoo puppies.  He's at the age of questions, lots of them - all the time (ha).  During our chat I mentioned (to the pups) that I was getting them their lunch.  WATCH to the end of the video......3 of them (Mando, Canella and Bacio) walk over to where their bowls belong.  These pups are 7 weeks old today!!

Not only are Cockapoos adorable they are SO smart! I am contstantly amazed at how quick they are to learn new things and how easy they are to train.

Also during their time in our care, we work on manding.  Manding is not teaching a pup to sit - it is not teaching manners.

Manding is about giving puppies a voice.  It is a concept that it is possible to get something they want by performing a behavior.

It empowers the puppy and shows them that they are heard! And we love that!!

Mando snuggles. 💙

Cannella's turn.
Look at Pesca, manding for Reid's attention. ❤️

Bacio (on the left) looking up at me,
then "oh, yeah - I know how to get her to hold me".

The girls. ❤️❤️

We met our families, July 9

Yesterday we had loads of fun playing outside and exploring with Nya's Cockapoo puppies.

There was:

🐾 Chase with Aria (ok, so she chased the ball and the pups chased her - or tried their best).

🐾 Water play in the puppy pool (felt good to drink and romp in).

🐾 Climbing (over, under, around and through).

🐾 Stairs and a slide on our puppy play structure.

Today, we got to meet our wonderful Chesley Hill Cockapoos families who will be welcoming these cuties into their homes, and hearts in just 2 weeks!

Happy 4th of July

As we celebrate Independence Day, we are thankful for our freedom - our family - and of course, our pups!

Nya's Italian Gelato Cockapoo puppies turned 5 weeks old just this past Thursday.  They LOVE playing outside on the lawn - chasing my boys and giving loads of kisses when they catch them.  They are fun, silly, confident and bring so much joy.

We are excited to meet their families next weekend!!

Sunny Sunday, June 12

Look who has their eyes open?!

Nya's pups turned 2 weeks this past Thursday.  They are getting loads of milk (little chunky-monkeys) and just as much love and attention.

Like their momma, they have amazing white markings! 💙❤️❤️💙

Welcome to the world, May 26

We are so thankful for another beautiful litter from our sweet momma, Nya.

Nya welcomed her final litter via planned c-section at our amazing veterinary office, Broadview Animal Hospital - Reproductive Services on Thursday, May 26.

Momma and pups have settled in at home and are doing great!

With warmer temps and summer just around the corner, we've decided to do Italian Gelato for this litter's name theme.

Welcome (in order of delivery):

Bacio (chocolate-hazelnut flavor), Pesca (peach), Cannella (cinnamon), and Mandarino (mandarin orange).
